Medan.

I'm back!
Did y'all miss me? *imagining a billion people chanting 'yes!'*
Aw, I thought so.
Okay, I'm getting off-track. and delusional

SUNDAY

We woke up early, and Kaklong and Abang Adi drove us to the airport.
I was pretty hungry, so we bought sandwiches at Dunkin' Donuts.
Personally, zitty teenage boys who flirt by asking for your phone number at 7 in the morning is not very fun.
It would be if they were hot, but they were not.
Anyhoo, we boarded the plane and all that blahblah.
Abang Fahmi met us at the airport with Diva!
I haven't seen her, ever, and we were all pretty excited.
She was SO, SO, SO, SO gorgeous.
But since she wasn't used to us, and my mother started to go all pedo on her, she started to cry.
She stopped crying in the car, but refused to sit with us.
She just sat in her dad's lap in the driver's seat.
We reached their house and had breakfast.
Of course, it wasn't complete without meeting Dennis the Menace.
He wasn't that different from the last time I saw him, just slightly taller and much more heavier.
After we got settled in, we drove to town.
Specifically, to Pasar Ikan.
Which, oddly enough, sells about everything but fish. -.-
My mother and sister went nuts about the super-cheap prices of all the materials, lace and stuff; things which I couldn't care less about.
After shopping, Abang Fahmi drove us to his wife's sister's house.
(Like I said, I have, like, a zillion extended families.)
It was Audy's 4th Birthday.
She's really pretty. :)
Like every other little girl in this planet, she is a big fan of Disney Princesses.
She had on a blue Cinderella dress and a gigantic, extremely thick-and-fluffy Cinderella cake.
(We got party packs in the form of Barbie plastic bags. I was wondering, how come we Malaysians don't get all the cool stuff that Indonesians get? They get Cheetos. There was freaking Cheetos in that party pack! I mean, why can't we get Doritos or Chuck E. Cheese!? Back to the story.)
After her birthday party, we went home.
That night, we went to Sun Plaza, which is the biggest mall in the Sumatera area.
It was conjoined to a mosque, and we entered the mall via back entrance; which I think is pretty cool.
It's so much easier for people to shop and pray that way, aye? ;p
There were plenty of cool shops, since it's considered as somewhat a classy mall, and there was even an MNG.
But I didn't get to go in, as my mom went straight to Alta Moda. Haha.
So, my mom and sis shopped like crazy.
They just looked at a board of material, touched it, and said, "Empat" if they liked it; which meant that they want four metres of it.
In the end, something embarrassing happened.
My mother's credit card was rejected.
She didn't inform the card company that she was being abroad, so something went wrong and it wasn't usable.
So, we had to wait for my dad for like, half an hour.
He wasn't that pleased that he had to whip out his credit card when he came to meet us at the shop, haha. ;D
After shopping, we went to a Thai restaurant for dinner with Kak Dhini's family.
Dennis and Diva didn't eat, they just went to the playground to play.
He wasn't allowed ice-cream, but he went and got it anyway.
And very wisely put it on the bill.
I swear, he has too much common sense for a six-year-old.
That night, we had to sleep in the boys' bedroom.
It was somewhat of a new experience.
Blue Chelsea bedspreads, blue yacht-printed curtains, blue train wallpaper, blue walls, blue shelves.
Even the bathroom was tiled in dark blue tiles with Winnie-the-Pooh and other Disney characters (namely Mickey Mouse) on the tiles.
And also a poster of some dude from Manchester United on the wall.
There was even a computer.
I mean, Kevin is, like, ten, and he has his own computer.
I'm jealous.
The fact that it seemed quite state-of-the-art didn't help. ;D

MONDAY

I woke up in the morning, showered and got dressed.
The boys were already off to school.
They have to go to school by 6.30, would you believe it!?
Only Diva was at home, running around and babbling.
She. Has. Too. Much. Energy.
Seriously, she, like, NEVER sits at one place for more than ten seconds.
Abang Fahmi drove us to his mother's house, where we had breakfast.
We went to the boys' school for fun.
They go to this private school for Muslim kids.
The kindergarten boys wear checked red-and-white shirts, red pants, red caps and red BOW TIES.
The kindergarten girls wear checked red-and-white shirts, long red pinafores, white tights/socks and black shoes; and also white tudungs if they want. And, of course, red bow ties.
The primary school kids wear white shirts with long maroon skirts or maroon pants, I think.
Secondary students wear the standard white-and-grey uniform, of course.
Even the teachers wear matching green army-ish uniforms.
Dennis is surprisingly well-behaved at school. ;p
Afterward, we picked up Kak Dhini at USU, and went to Pasar Ikan. Again.
Mom and sister bought more materials.
My sister actually bought another type of lace for her wedding dress, although she already bought it.
I was the one who picked it out! :p
We went to lunch at Garuda, and later returned home.
That night, we went to dinner at this cool restaurant that's, like, four times the size of our school field; with a huge children's playground.
Dennis had a blast, of course.
Diva just ran around the place with the bibik chasing her.
No wonder that maid's so thin. -.-

TODAY (TUESDAY)

We went home, enough said.
Oh, and at the airport, I went to the bathroom.
This lady in front of me, had a butt-crack.
A big one. How obscene.

This post will be updated soon with pictures.
I miss Diva and the boys. ;(
But they'll be here in February for my sister's wedding, so only two more months!
XOXO.

Travel-bound.

I'll be leaving for Medan tomorrow morning!
I suppose it's much less exciting than going to Perth and visiting my annoying darling sister, but what can be done? Sigh.
Anyhoo, I'm still excited to see my nephews and niece!
I miss them, and I haven't seen them in two years.
I can't wait to see how much they've grown. :)
But as usual, I will be hit by Internet-less depression.
Somebody needs to help me cure that. Grr.
I'll blog--hopefully with pictures--after I return.
Yay, I get to miss Mumtaz! Wootwoot! ;D
Au revoir!

P/S: Celine, have lots of fun on your birthday! :) XOXO.

Celine.

I won't be able to attend Celine's birthday party today.
I didn't ask my mom either 'cuz I know she'd say no.
Why bother asking and get disappointed?lol

CELINE LIM SHU WEN.

Happy 14th Birthday!
I'm really sorry I can't be there at your birthday party; I wish I could.
Well, I hope you have fun, nonetheless. :)
I'm sorry if I'd ever done anything to hurt you in any way.
And thank you for everything you've ever done for me.
Thank you for saying 'yes' whenever I ask you if you love me. ;D
I don't know what to get you for your birthday.
A Team Seth hoodie? ;p
Haha, happy birthday, Celine.
I love you, and have lots and lots and lots of fun!

Dr.

I've just found the greatest quote of all times;

Dr. Carlisle Cullen ;

McDreamy

McSteamy
McSparkly!

;p

Depressed.

I still haven't watched "New Moon".
I am getting Twi-Depression. ;(

Hanice Montanice.

HAPPY 14th BIRTHDAY, EUNICE!

Have a great day, today. :)
Thank you so much for everything.

  • For being a complete idiot at times.
  • For listening to my countless celebrity news.
  • For not minding me and Marion teasing you about your eyes.
  • For answering 'uh-huh' even when you're not remotely interested.
  • For putting up with me calling you 'Hanice'.
  • For laughing at every dumb thing I say.
  • For being on Team Edward.
  • For rubbing the side of your hand on the table when you read, then would shout, "What!?" when I and Marion call your name. Then we all laugh.
  • For recessing with me every day.
THANK YOU.
But I really hate you for quitting next year.
Now I have no idiot to recess with. ;(
Anyhoo,
Happy birthday, Hanice! :)

Changes.

I've chosen a new font for my blog!
I've always liked this font.
Georgia was a bit too small and spiderish.
This Verdana one is nice and big! ;)
